My wife had her pip test she was told in the accessories report that her pain killers are a mild pain killer she is on 900mg of gabapentin, 3x daily, turns out she was a dental nurse, not a general nurse as described, what's going on ?

Hello @stargazer
Unfortunately PIP assessment reports are often inaccurate. You need to proceed with a mandatory reconsideration immediately then a tribunal if you don't feel you were respected at the mandatory reconsideration.
This link tells you about the MR process. You only have a month more or less to contest the decision that was made so do not delay. If you need more help, call your local Citizen's Advice Bureau and ask for a benefits advisor .

Keep us updated on the outcome! Best wishes.

Hi @stargazer and a warm welcome to the community. Did the assessor say this during the assessment, or is this something you have read in the report?
I can understand how annoying it is for information like this to be incorrect. Have you received a decision yet?Scope -
Hi, no decision yet read all in report , why send a dental nurse. ?
-
Hi @stargazer, if you add up the points in the report you should be able to see what the decision will be. It is rare that they would go against the report.
Anyone is able to do the assessment as they will have been trained the same way. It shouldn't make a difference to the outcome with it being a dental nurse.Scope
