Looking to work with disabled children over the summer

I am a 2nd year Physiotherapy student hoping to specialise in paediatrics when I graduate next summer. I am looking to work with children with disabilities over the summer to gain some valuable experience. I have experience caring for two young children with cerebral palsy. I was wondering if any families may be needing help over the summer. Thank you. Grace

HI and welcome,This is an internet forum and it's not really the place to advertise for work. What you should do is advertise in your local area. Possibly facebook maybe a good place to start.I do wish you good luck with your search for work but if we can help with any questions then please do ask.

Hi @graceelliot27 - & welcome, Grace. As a physio myself (tho haven't worked as such for a long time), I just wanted to wish you well with your studies, & future career. I worked with children with cerebral palsy, which combined my love of neurology & paediatrics.Might there also be any opportunities to volunteer in your local hospital, or something like a child development centre (if there's one near you)? My best wishes.

Welcome to the community @graceelliot27! I have shared this on our opportunity board. I also would recommend using other methods like suggested above.
