My dad is a wheelchair user i grew up with him in a wheel chair i never saw him as disabled....if anything i though dads that weren't in a wheel chair were weird.Im 19 now and i realise my dad has gone through a lot of things mentally and physically the worst experience i have witnessed was when my dad was in a lot of pain the elevator didn't work ,the paramedics didn't know how to carry my dad to the stretcher ,my mum wasn't there.I went with him on the ambulance he was crying and high of the gas and telling me how he was in a wheelchair and every time he encounters the paramedics he has to re-live it.
The reason I'm writing is that there are so many things that are overlooked by people about wheel chair users and I'm angry I'm really angry these things that are overlooked really hurt my dad like for example the care after surgery is just as important as the surgery (infection is an issue) wheelchair accessibility, parking for disabled, every day life etc.
Anyway I'm getting to the point if you could please help answer a questionnaire I'm trying to design a product for my dad a product for wheelchair users and i would really like wheelchair users perspective i have asked my dad on his views but his only one person he can't represent the whole community.
Thank you
What problems do you have in your day to day life?
Are heights an issue?
Are there products you use to help with this problem?
How do you overcome height related obstacles?
Have you ever had any accidents reaching things?
Do you feel you're missing out on high end design?
Do you think there's a fine line between luxury and necessity?
Do you feel your home/area is disabled friendly?
Do you feel you have enough freedom in your house? e.g everyday things/hobbies
Any aspects you would like to change from everyday life?

Hi @emily01, welcome to the community.
Could I ask are you conducting this research as part of your studies? If you create the questionnaire on something like Survey Monkey, it would be easier for people to complete.

Hi @emily01 and welcome to the community. What a great idea.
In order to give our members some more anonymity, it might be worth putting your questions into an online survey, like SurveyMonkey and then posting the link here.1 -
