Very worried0

A little worriedSome strict measures announced just now. Interesting times.0
-
Quite worriedYes it needed to happen as so many people were ignoring social distancing and carrying on regardless. Hopefully these new measures will finally get through to folk0

A little worriedAgreed0

Makes me angry people are being so ignorant. I have had to stop seeing my mum in her care home, not just for my mum but also for the other residence and the wonderful staff who are putting themselves at risk by looking after our loved ones. My mum is not well at all and it’s an incredible difficult time, then you see people just swanning around without a care in the world. If people don’t care if they get the virus they should think about others. Sorry selfish!1

A little worriedThe panic buying is ridiculous! my dad told me the other day that our local electrical shop has run out of freezers and a friend told me that people have been appealing for freezers on Facebook. These people should stop being greedy and think about other people who can't afford to bulk buy. I heard on the news that people are still cramming onto trains in London. These people are the main reason why the 3 week isolation has been enforced. Don't they realise that they are putting peoples lives at risk!!!0

A little worriedI have gone from being a little worried to quite worried in the last couple of days! I am especially worried about my parents business, they have got a bed and breakfast and they were full booked this week but that will all have changed now. If the lockdown is only going to last a few weeks they should be ok but if it lasts longer then they will probably go out of business.0

Not at all worriedI have gone from not at all worried to absolutely furious! Not allowed out??? Am I back in the USSR???-1
-
Quite worriedSeriously @EmmaJane. What are you thinking?! We all need to pull together now and get on board with the lockdown. I was out yesterday and the amount of elderly people out and taking no notice whatsoever of social distancing was very concerning indeed.
What is going on the heads of these people. For goodness' sake, get in your house and stay in it. Help the National effort here and get on board with the restrictions.1 -
Quite worriedOmg just watching the 6pm news on tv now and a lot of people just arent getting it! People just walking about with their friends. What is the matter with folk?!!
Unless everyone gets on board and stays indoors, more severe enforcement is bound to come. And the lockdown will go on for longer and longer . . .
Stay indoors!!!!!1 -
A little worriedI live on quite a busy road and I have noticed quite a lot of people walking up and down the road today. Not as many as usual though! I did fee the same as EmmaJane though when we were told we all had to stay in doors. But we have to realise it is for our own good.0

Quite worriedSo right @Cressida. Everyone that thinks this doesnt apply to them needs to educate themselves on viral load. The more of us walking about incubating this virus, it is bound to make it more and more deadly as time goes on. Im taking no chances and i dont have any underlying health conditions and nor am i over 70.
My autistic lad could teach us all a thing or two about social distancing working. Despite his shockingly bad diet, he never ever gets coughs or colds and it can only be because he practises social distancing at all times anyway.
Really, do any of you want to be struggling to breathe with a high fever? Not being able to breathe is truly terrifying!2 -
A little worriedThere was a piece on the news displaying what is obvious really but it was done in a really good way, explaining that if each person who gets the virus infects 3 others, and those 3 infect 3 others etc. there is exponential growth. That means anyone, even a healthy person who will not die from the virus, who manages to avoid contracting the virus at the top of the “line” potentially would be saving hundreds of others from getting it down the line, not just themselves, and statistically that would mean a few lives saved as well! For that reason it is so important that everyone avoids contracting the virus, regardless of whether it is dangerous to them personally.

A little worriedI saw that. It is scary how easily it spreads! It looks like it is slowing down in China thank goodness! Hopefully things will start to improve before too much longer.2
-
A little worriedMy mom has had to go in isolation for 12 weeks due to the virus. I can't go and see her and it is my dad's 70th birthday in a couple of weeks. Bang goes his birthday celebration!0
-
Quite worriedI saw something on facebook that tonight at 8pm people will stand in their doorways and applaude the NHS. Is anyone planning on doing this?

Quite worriedAll our street did this last night and the sound was deafening!0
-
Yes my street was out last night. It was wonderful. Such an uplifting experience to hear such support.1
-
Not at all worriedMost of the balconies and doors were open with people clapping and found it uplifting. During a skype meeting I thanked my colleagues for taking the time to 'be in the moment' and take part in what was going on, rather than just recording it on their phones.0
-
I texted my carers and and thanked them. I do say that to them anyway but I just wanted to let them know that people’s families of care users and other people also recognise the good work they do. It’s nice to be appreciated.1
