How amazing that the issue had an easy fix @Grinchy. Really pleased for you!
Sounds like the seller packaged them really well too. Hopefully, you will find a place for them soon0 -
Thanks @L_Volunteer, yeah can't fault the seller even offered to make a replacement, but no need, i'll take a pic of were i added them later,0

So, i had a little bit of inheritance from my nan, so decided to get something decent to remember her by, just got a new glass cabinet for the room and wanted something impressive to put in it
first up Life sized Boba Fett helmet, has lights etc
Next up a life size Darth Vader helmet, made of fiberglass
So thats it, thanks to my lovely Nan, she bought me figures as a child and now she has gotten me more cool items for the collection1 -
Ha ha ha yep can imagine, my hubby is a nightmare with his car/construction collection he certainly not as tidy as you, good job i don't leave him in the house on his own ha ha x0
-
Lol, my wife would disagree with that tidy statement, i would have stuff all over the house, but i'm happy to have the room for my displays0
-
Yep you men and your Boy's Toy's ha ha x0
-
i feel personally attacked by that statement, lol, yeah i'm a big kid at heart, i have a supportive wife and family, couldn't do it without them xx0
-
Hi @Teddybear12, i have a detolf glass cabinet that i got, perfect for displaying helmets, they are not here yet, but hopefully they fit in without messing1
-
Ha ha ha - it's still a good hobby although can be expensive - hubby always said it was his retirement plan ha ha he's 67 now and still buys and can't bring himself to sell yet x0
-
I just won another helmet for the collection, a stormtrooper this time, looks great

Those are all fantastic helmets @Grinchy I'm pleased you've been able to add them to the already impressive collection you have, and I'm sure your nan would be pleased too
Have you tried them on?0 -
Hey @Alex_Scope, yeah its nice to have something from my nan, they are not here yet, but sadly they will not go near my enormous noggin, i have a big old head, lol, but they will look good on display thats what counts0
-
Ahh okay @Grinchy, I can imagine that they are probably quite hot and uncomfortable to wear after a while anyway, and they'll look awesome I'm sure0
-
yeah they do get quite hot i would imagine, thanks i'll make a post here when they arrive and are in the cabinet, it'll be a while yet as my room is still housing my sons stuff,1

So it was like Christmas today, all three helmets came in big boxes, i carefully opened each one, and found a temporary home for them on the bluray cabinet, thanks to my wife for letting me display them in the living room for now, i have a detolf glass cabinet for them in my display room, but can't get to it at the moment vas my sons stuff is in the way, i love all three but the Darth Vader is my favourite, its made of fibreglass and is very sturdy, and bolted together
