@Sandy_123
They were really good kept me dry, I got them from that place that sells just about everything 😂
Not sure if I can say the name off it.
Regatta £12.99.Good for out walking.2 -
@Lou67 I always feel silly going to the outdoors shops, because I just go for a walk with the dog maybe 3 miles on a good day, their stuff always seems aimed at peoople who walk 15 miles on mountains etc. but I got some walking shoes and they are the best shoes I have ever worn so like you say if they help that's all that matters1

@66Mustang
Oh your right you need to be comfortable.Your shoes sound great, comfort is most important for me now, it used to be style but not anymore, arthritis took my style away 🙄And 3 miles is great. I was just sick off getting wet or not going out because off the rain so I thought why not 😀2 -

Morning all, hope you're having a fine morning!
My partner really likes watching truecrime on youtube @Ada. I find it hard to listen/watch through them sometimes. I struggle to not empathise with the victims and when I do I get sad/upset.1 -
Good morning everyone
Lovely picture of your doggy @ada Good morning
Good morning @Jimm_Scope
My Dad listens to some crime documentaries sometimes. He was a police officer for 30 years, and worked as a detective for most of those 30 years. He likes one recently about female criminals/murderers, it's narrated from a feminist point of view, almost trying to justify what they did but not going that far. It sounds quite interesting.1 -
Good morning all sorry I have been a bit quiet last few days just some time off work as was feeling very overwhelmed with everything1

Morning all.
Dry and sunny here apart from one quick shower that we managed to dodge.2 -
Morning all I hope yous have a good day.It’s dry but chilly here, I’m not doing much today I don’t think but I will get out my walk.
@66Mustang
Hi I hope you’re good. Your dads job would’ve been exciting something different all the time, but it’ll have been very hard to I bet he’s seen some awful things in his career.
@Darryl1854
I hope your time off work has helped, I hope you’re feeling a bit better. Take care.
@Teigr
Glad you managed to dodge the shower and stay dry.

@Lou67
Hi, hope you are well too, we have just walked the dog, now dog is tucking into his breakfast
Dad said it was exciting just like the TV, 10% of the time, the other 90% that you don't see on TV is all the paperwork but yes he said it was great but also saw awful things - he worked on child protection for a few years and most people who work on that unit have to leave after a few years as they can't do it anymore

Thank you @Albus_Scope @Beaver79 @66Mustang and @Lou67, its so kind to know I am not alone in this. I am working from home today just trying to put measures in place to stop me getting overwhelmed5

@66Mustang
Aww the dogs worked up an appetite on it’s walk 😊
Oh I think that’s amazing that your dad did the great work he done with the child protection unit.
They do amazing work I’m personally greatful to them as they helped a young family member out a few years ago ☹️
Im fine thanks will go my walk soon while it’s dry, you just never know when it’ll change lol
