I just got a Motability newsletter via email and one of the articles is about how she just got her first guide dog.
Very happy for her.chiarieds said:I remember Chloe very well @66Mustang - one member welcomed me, then Chloe really tried to answer my query, so I remember them from my first day. Delighted she's got her first guide dog, & thank you for saying this about her here4 -
Great @Adrian_Scope1

Morning everyone, I'm just catching up on chat, so apologies if I miss anything.
Best of luck with the appointment @Lou67!
@Sandy_123 sounds like you raised your son right, shopping for you AND a romantic getaway for his wife? That's top work.
@Amberpearl I hope your eye's ok.
@66Mustang glad your birthday meal was lovely. What did you have?
@Ada my elderly cat wakes me up around 6am to let me know she's hungry. The poor old girl cant retract her claws properly, so those pats on the face really hurt!2 -
@Albus_Scope
I had pig's cheek (like very soft pork) in cider sauce to start
Then had duck for main
And banoffee waffle sundae for pudding

Oh now you have me drooling again @66Mustang, especially for that sundae.1
-
I have the same problem @Ada I'm terrible at having 'proper' meals and tend to just graze when the mood takes me, then have a decent meal in the evening. I usually have to force myself to eat lunch. When I remember anyway.1
-
I used to eat snacks in the day and then struggled to eat a proper meal in the evening, but now I don't eat all day and only have one meal in the evening as I have a lot of weight to lose. I really enjoy the evening meals now.

Good afternoon how is everyone keeping. The weather is cold here today1

@66Mustang I know I'm a massive hypocrite for saying this, but regular meals are important, especially if you're wanting to lose weight. It's all about balance.
Hey there @Darryl1854 how're you on this frosty day?1 -
@Albus_Scope I realise that and have tried eating regular meals and found it didn't work for me, so I found something that did work. Once I reach an ideal weight and no longer require a calorie deficit I do intend to go back onto regular, but still healthy, meals.1

Thats interesting to know @Ada, thanks for sharing.
While dieting, I am making sure to take a (decent) vitamin tablet each day, I don't know what good it does, and I know you shouldn't take tablets instead of food, but I guess it can't harm taking it alongside food?1 -
Afternoon all going chilly now1

Afternoon my friends I hope yous are all doing good thanks for your messages earlier. 😊
Well went to my appointment and he told me that he can’t help as he sits in Westminster not Scottish Parliament. And doesn’t deal with housing issues.🤦♀️
He brought me a big bundle with a complaints form for the Ombudsman and sd I should contact Citezan Advice. I phoned them they aren’t taking any new cases on just now.So I’m searching online to see if there are any solicitors that deal with this kind off thing.

@66Mustang
Hi sorry I meant the MP can’t help anyway so has told me to try a lawyer or citizen advice. And he gave me a pack with a big firm to ask the Ombudsman to look at the complaint. But I need help with it.
I feel I’m getting nowhere with it, just feeling totally deflated with it.2
