Morning @Amberpearl yep I had a bathroom run about 3.30 this morning, it's a pain especially when you have trouble getting back to sleep.

It's amazing how small our Country is supposed to be, that our weather can be so different.
I take it you live up North some were, I'm in the midlands and the rain seams to keep missing us, although I bet the Common Wealth Games organisers are happy about that ha ha.
We have had some rain in the night, I will try and see how much rain we have had when I venture out side.

I’m tired this morning but in a good mood. Going for lunch for a family members birthday but can’t wait to get back as my family aren’t always on the best of terms  :D

    How’re you doing too?

My fathers side are too from Newcastle and probably moved at the same time as yours to Manchester and abroad. My mothers side are from Lancashire (arguably the same as Manchester :))
    Love family history.

I love family history too @bg844 I don't know my family in Newcastle, we used to go up as kids for a holiday, all I got was I can't understand a word your saying. I love a geordie accident, my parents didn't loose there's, there both gone now. Havnt heard the accent for a long time.

I love their accents too, I watch videos of the way they speak and it cracks me up! I have tired to do Ancestry but with limited info I only have a partially completed tree. Ah well we have something in common with Newcastle then lol.

Feeling a bit down due to the weather - raining. Just had the car fixed on Wed so no more taxis i thought. Then yesterday it locked the sterring wheel again.  Rang the garage busy this week so might have to go back next week.  So it will be limited with me going out.  So it's back to my knitting.

That's very frustrating for you @Brenda1946 it's a real shame the garage can't help this week.

Is there an emergency garage nearby which could help at all?

And what are you knitting today? :)

Just been watching the squirel, I put a tub of mixed nuts out for him, he's been burying them in all the neighbours gardens, manage to get a pic of him
