Pdsa rang me
It's bad news. He has a very fast growing aggressive cancer of the lymph nodes. Can't do anything
There's a cancer cat specialist but it's 300 pounds just for a consult. I'm. On. Universal credit and lcwra. 3 rounds of chemo is 10k. I. Don't have that... No guarantee he can. Be saved if I. Did have the money. He's 12 half I bred him. And bottle fed him myself
I'm. In. Bits absolutely heartbroken
They wanted to put him. To. Sleep there and then while under the anesthesia. I said no. I. Need to see him all they can offer is pred steroids or see the feline cancer vet0 -
Ohh Bless you @Amberpearl that's such a shame I am so sorry darling x0
-
Sorry to hear this try and think about the best thing for him . He is probably in pain and struggling with no guarantee of recovery
Ir maybe the best thing for him to put him to rest as heartbreaking as it will be for you0 -
I think when a vet puts a pet to sleep it's murder0
-
I’m so sorry @Amberpearl, it’s heartbreaking when you lose a pet as they are very much part of the family. Today you have put Oscar’s best interests before your own feelings, that shows how much you loved him.0

I wouldn't class it as murder @Amberpearl, it's stops an animal suffering, my 1st cat had enlarged liver and kidney problems, he couldn't do anything I even had to clean him after I put him on litter tray. He wasn't eating or drinking and nothing they could do to help him. He was 10. It is heart breaking to see them go. My last cat had breathing problems that he was only ok on oxygen, but he couldn't be given oxygen all the time, again he wasn't eating or drinking or active. I was syringe feeding him and liquid. He sadly was only 5.
What helps is remembering the good times, the happiness you gave them.
Its like an oven out side, just walked to the shop.0 -
Not good news at the optician . They can't improve my vision with glasses so it is what it is
But there is a capsule that has grown as result of the surgery which does happen after few years but rare to happen in 5 weeks like mine has
The effect is just like the cataract I had removed I thought my sight had got worse than just after op but just thought it was me getting used to it like you do with new glasses
The capsule can be removed by laser but will have to wait as too soon post op so likely to get worse b4 they can treat it
BONUS don't have to pay out for any glasses my way of trying to see a positive0 -
My mum had been telling my dad for months, he’s no longer with us, that the bedroom ceiling needed painting and when she had her cataracts done she noticed how white it was.Hope they sort the capsule out soon for you @janer19670
-
Hopefully it can be treated with laser soon0
-

Very tired. Was up several times again for the bathroom
Was too hot too
Feel exhausted0 -
Yep know what you mean, just don't want to do anything !
Won't mind the resbite next week as long as we still get some sunshine but better temps, I would like to put an order in for the rain to come on the night as well ha ha x0 -
Morning @Amberpearl I know this sort of heat is terrible, don't think many people are coping with it.
Hope every think else is okay with you, after yesterdays trauma x0 -
