High @Teddybear12,
Ive downloaded the App for the energy company and scanned another reading, what surprised me was that it was less than the man had entered who came out to read the meter at the beginning of August, I don’t understand it. My husband will give them a ring tomorrow. The guidance says that we can ask our guests to contribute towards energy costs but I don’t really want to as I think they’ve been through enough and sometimes things get lost in translation, hopefully the energy company will get their act together and sort an accurate bill.
Thank you for responding, much appreciated. I think I’ve calmed down a bit now.1 -
@Charlie1973 enjoy your evening, I love 80s rock but I'm a fan of classical music0

Hi @Sandy_123,
They have been with us for three months now, they’re lovely, bit of a language barrier but we do have some laughs along the way. They love our dogs and cats, they’ve had to leave theirs at home with family members who don’t want to leave.0 -
Its a lovely thing you have done having them as guests, you can learn each others languages. When the wars over and the country is back up and running I'm sure you'll get invites over there.0
-
They’ve told us we’ll be friends for life and have already invited us over, hopefully when there’s a solution.1

you all sound like you have had an eventful couple of days - we're shattered had 2 grand daughters stop over they have not long gone home, then we have another son and daughter in law coming over at 6 to eat with us - luckily a take away x0 -
Sounds great @sueheath, I'm having a rest from grandkids, well, I say rest, my son is painting the stairs, so I'm fetching and carrying for him, looking better tho, white paint going on 1st then the grey, paint was just soaking into the walls, so took 3 coats so far. Grey will go on tomorrow.
Looking stormy here0 -

That was a good sleep @janer1967.
I'm popping out to the village on the bus. Need to get some coffee before I run out. I've got 4 children's winter coats to drop off at charity shop too.0 -
I just finished a pack of blueberries and at the end I noticed in the pack, there was a very tiny, only 1-2 millimetres big, snail.
I know you have to put up with stuff like that with fruit occasionally but it put me off a little bit.
I guess that's why you are meant to wash it first.0 -
Ewww @66Mustang adds to the flavour lol.
I've just weighed myself in boots, lost 5kg in total but im not sure how. In 3 months.
Plus I've given the nurse Friday and all day to ring, so I've filled an econsult out asking for a Dr to ring with my ct scan results. They've emailed fri 2nd Sept someone will rin at least will know then1
