    @leeCal

Just a thought but have you tried to log in recently from a different or new device? It may be that they think someone has hacked your account because your account has logged in from a different device to what you normally use.

No I haven’t tried to log in possibly for a year or two, thanks for asking @66Mustang

im thinking once in my account what could they do? Perhaps discover my email account name I suppose, not much else surely? Though just that could cause problems.

I guess it depends on what info you entered into their site in the past.

We entered all sorts about our house and cars in order to compare policies, we never made an account though, so I am assuming (hoping!!) it gets deleted.

I guess if they really wanted to they could see whatever info you entered when getting insurance quotes? E.g. about your housing situation and the security etc. of the building. Similar for your car or whatever other product you were looking for.

Sorry - not trying to cause panic just trying to think of all the possibilities, that's just the worst case scenario I think.

Sorry I can't be of more help...I know it's a concern especially for you with what you went through in the past.

I hope it all gets sorted for you.

£40 for half an hour is still about the going rate from what I understand. It costs a lot to be a trades person these days.

My brother does tree surgery, I accept it’s a step up from a simple gardener, but £100 an hour is easily eaten up by liability insurance, vehicle, tool costs etc.

I am not saying you wouldn’t find anyone cheaper but someone who charged £25 an hour would likely be a semi-professional working out of their back garden not paying tax. I’m not saying I’m against them, I support anyone trying to make a living.

@janer1967 I hope you get your eye sorted soon. I can’t imagine anything worse than loosing sight and would hate for it to happen because of not getting an appointment, hopefully you get sorted soon

@leecal this email you received did they ask you to click on any links or for information, just thinking it may be a scam email?

Yes they have given me links to change my password and a time limit in which to do so otherwise I have to ask for a reset on another link.

i know what you mean @Sandy_123, those were my thoughts too.

I wont ask for a new password or click on any links in the email just in case, thank you for caring.

I would be very wary of emails like that @leecal. It sounds to me like a scam email, the links you press let's them get info they need. If it puts your mind to rest, you could ring them up and ask if they sent you an email.  It's got dodgy scam written all over it I think.
I get them with tv licence, and amazon and banks I'm not with. Anything  out the blue that's wants a link to put info in,  avoid.  Hope that puts your mind at rest

I'm with you on phoning the company if i am worried about a scam email or phone call @Sandy_123
I can be so mistrustful of these type of things - it's quite scary really with how clever hackers etc are getting.

Loved the chats about gardeners, did the man that took your tree's up also get rid of them for you? xxx

Hello @Amberpearl nice to hear from you, that doesn't sound good, do you think it's the broken laptop that is causing your internet to keep cutting out,  Or do you have other things that run on the nett ?

Hi @Teddybear12, I still haven't purchased the computer but I have decided that I want one. However all the models and specifications on offer is very complicated and I haven't decided what model to go for yet, I think it's more complicated than choosing a car!!! I think in the end it is just easier to pick one and buy it but I don't like doing that, especially when spending a large amount, I like to get it right.

I think I am going to do some baking today which I am looking forward to :yum:

I hope you enjoy your day!! :) What are you going to be doing today?
