Had a day of catching up today, i should of gone the hair dressers but she managed to change it for tomorrow, she's my hero at the moment because i know she's getting busy with back to school cuts x0
-
@SueHeath I'm sure most schools will be back next week
@Teddybear12 typical hope you get the call on Mon
I've rung consultant secretary again today as usual voicemail so waiting for call back think she would be fed up of me and get something sorted
Been ordering school trousers despite asking toby to check all his uniform was OK weeks ago he decides to try today to find his trousers are too big . Be his own fault if they end up round his ankles till new ones come0 -
I'm glad I no longer have to do school uniforms.
Its a lovely warm day the stray cat has sat in the garden with me, washing drying well. My son going to cut lawns later as bins get emptied friday0 -
My lawn is desperate gardener didn't come last week as expected due tomorrow tho0
-
I hate gardening I can't get a decent gardener, so I rely on my sons, then i have to wait till, there not busy, my other son does it but he's away, took some nagging to get my youngest to do it. He'd rather be out. If I could get a gardener that didn't just mow and leave the weeds, like last 2 I'd get one. I mean the window cleaner didn't come back. It's hopeless.0

Well can you believe it from last post, I've only found a gardener. Bloke over the road does gardens, I shouted him and said what's your price. Told him I can't do them because of my back, he had a look round the back, I have 2 dead trees in garden, he pulled them out. Looks better because there gone. He said 20 pound once a month. I'm like done.
Also another neighbour knocked earlier with a big bar of Cadbury dairy milk. I said no take it back, yesterday when I was getting off the bus I gave her my day saver. Save her buying a ticket. She insisted I keep the chocolate.
@Teddybear12 alot of people believe that Robbins are our loved ones visiting.1 -

That's good price @Sandy_123 I pay £40 a time he only cuts grass and sprays weed killer on path . I used to pay £20 but went for proper company as was always let down by locals just doing it for extra money.0

Ha ha sorry for laughing (laughing still in my head) @janer1967 Toby so sounds like a Teen now oh the memories.
It also sounds like Toby really will have to learn the hard way. I so remember those days with my lot ha ha.
Hope your going to keep pestering your eye clinic - terrible how some things are going at the moment.
I keep forgetting to mention as well i got my letter back from the ESA assessment and i have been awarded the one were i don't have to work (support group) so pleased with that. I also had a lovely email the day after my OH video assessment, (for my work pension) saying she is recommending i am not fit or will not be fit to work. She said that they will probably ask me for as much evidence as i can give, so i am glad i have kept all my reports from the hospitals. xxx

Thanks all, 40 @janer1967
that's too much.
I'm really pleased, he only lives over the road with his wife and kids. Can't believe he pulled the trees out. Looks better with out them already.
Well done sue0 -
I don't even think £40 is too much to be honest, if it's a proper business.
Most tradespeople cost £50-100 an hour now!
He has to pay for a van's running costs, insurance, tools and that's before you even get to paying for his time.
Of course if he is doing it informally just cash in hand it should be cheaper than if he had a registered business.0 -
Had some bad news , comparethemarket tells me they’ve locked my account because someone has used my password.
What worries me is what did they do while they were in my account!
Any ideas @66Mustang?
Anyone?0
