Being Sunday just doing the usual - knitting while my husband goes out to help an ex customer from when we had a cafe. Checks he's o.k. helps him with a few chickens he has  gets his gas & electric for him.  It takes my husband a couple of hrs as he doesn't live near us.  We live in Stretford he lives in Partington.  Had a great day on Sat. - knitting club. It's at our local library, we chat, knit exchange patterns & wool plus the library staff let us use their kitchen to brew up.  We hope to join forces for the Mc Millan Coffee Morning. To morrow i'll just knit again while my husband takes his ex.business partner to see a relative in a nursing home in Middleton then take him shopping.

Your library knitting club sounds like great fun @Brenda1946 and I can imagine if you do have a McMillan Coffee Morning, there will be lots of cakes to enjoy too. It's win win

Suppose it doesn’t help with me getting up quite early. I am definitely watching what I’m using though, I turned it on at 6 and it was off at half 8. I’ll have a hot shower tonight that’ll make me feel better.

Yeah I was reluctant but it really is chilly, it's on 30 for an hour all windows and doors closed. Oven on too, so should warm up soon

Hi all 

My heating went on last weekend to test it was all working turned the temperature down to 20 and it did kick in this morning 

Had appt swelling increased at back of my eye so 3 more injections 4 weeks apart then laser will it ever end was hoping might be improvement b4 my holiday which is 12 weeks away (yes folks it's just over 12 weeks to Christmas )

Omg xmas really, we're doing secret santa again all adults  35 the set cost. Then All the  kids everyone buys for.

Just had a right laugh, shouldn't really but was funny. So i go out side check the meter to see how much it cost me having water and heating and oven on, which was a pound folks.
So it's a nice night and I stood infront of the door to get some air. This guy walks past, head in phone, then  looks up and sees me,  stares in total disbelief, like im hiding to jump him which scared him, as he thought no one was about. Bare in mind I'm in black clothes.  Made me night lol

Saturdays are always my best day of the week although i enjoy my Wed craft day but have to get help if it involves trying to draw a straight line and refining my cutting out.  We also have a deaf & dumb lady so it's hard work  as some one has to write down the instructions as we go along.  She watches what is being said then Jean comes along & explains.  When it is explained she is a lovely sewer. Thurs afternoon is colouring club which i can do reasionable.

Sorry to hear all @janer1967 it's a good job you pushed the clinic, but it's a shame that this has happened, if the after treatment/appointment was done at the right time you might not of been going through all this again !!!! xx
