Good afternoon everyone,
Mum’s 90th went well, I slipped and fell when having our photos done, just hurt my back and hip, but mostly I felt embarrassed.
Mum had a lovely day, she really enjoyed it and the cake went down well.
I’ve left the best news till last, my son and his wife are expecting twins, I’m just absolutely over the moon.3 -
All good stuff except the falling over @Karen7788 I bet you are really chuffed at the moment!!!0
-
Lovely news @Karen7788 when are the twins due
Glad celebration went well but you didn't need to do the acrobatics0 -
Thank you @66Mustang, @Teddybear12 and @janer1967.
Babies are due April 5th, but they’ve been told that she won’t go full term, so probably the end of March. It’s just fabulous news, all the family are made up, I’ve known for a few weeks but they announced it to everyone else at Mum’s party with the scan picture in her birthday card. I’m the happiest person on the planet at the moment I’m so really pleased for them. They’re our first grandchildren.

Thanks all, just got back about half hour ago, went to a Indian restaurant in the city, with my daughter her husband his dad and baby. Walked a little went back to the place there staying at for awhile then my son popped in and fetched me home.
Congratulations @Karen7788 and I'm glad the party and went well, shame you had a fall0 -
@Sandy_123 sounds like a full on day with your family can't beat days like that0

It was really nice my daughter coming mine tomorrow while her hubby and his dad go out shopping. So I'll get baby to play with again. Then they are heading home back to London on Wednesday. His dad lives in Chester so staying in brum with them, a nice man.0

Teddybear12 said:Hi @Amberpearl Did you make an appointment with your GP for your blood results? Also might be a good idea to have a Covid test. Take care.0
