I did buy grandkids a poppy not the normal 1s, because i thought school wouldn't allow the pins. But a poppy badge, of course I forgot to give them, so there all in my handbag. Too late now, I'll give 1 to my frejnd and her dad.0

Thanks for asking
Have you got a date yet for your surgery ?0 -
Aw @janer1967 You are very brave. I hope you're feeling a bit better than yesterday. You did right to nap.
It was sunny here but I've just looked out the window and it's gone greyBut anyway, it's Friday so woohoo! And, I was only woken last night 3 times by the boy so that's an improvement. I've resigned myself to the fact my look from now on is definitely 'tired mum'

Afternoon all, enjoyed shopping trip, but I've decided it's too much for me now, walking around town and then around each shop. We did stop for coffee and cake. I told my freind that from now on I'll do it all on line, my backs throbbing and thighs are hurting. So if we go out, I'm just going to pop to village, all the shops are closer. Told her my mobility seems to be getting worse and I have noticed loosing my balance a few times.

Nice day here. 17 degrees1

@ada it was so busy, lots of people out shopping for Xmas. There was 10 of us waiting for the bus by me, usually only me. Personally I think the best deals and choices are on line sadly. Plus it stops me being in pain. The village I can cope with, the shops are close together, less people also. The only alternative is to have a chair for town and fetches it's own night mare.1

@Sandy_123 that's a real shame and I feel for you
Have a look into renting a mobility scooter in the town centre you could get the bus to town then go to the mobility shop to pick up a scooter to use round the town . Most towns offer this facility
You could then use it between shops and if big shop use it in the shop0 -
Its a good idea @janer1967 my town doesn't do that I don't think. I'd probably end up mowing people down lol

Good afternoon all, hope your all well.
Lot milder in my part of the world today, done our usual shop at Asda, still a nightmare, but hey hoo got to be done.
Glad your feeling better today @janer1967, hopefully you can put it to the back of your brain till the next time darling.
You'l have to remind us when you go to the hospital @Teddybear12 will be thinking of you. Do you take sticks with you @Sandy_123, i know how you feel darling it's not nice, but Janer come up with a good idea, or next time just have a potter, i'm not allowed an electric scooter unless i have driving lessons ha ha. Busy weekend for the refreshed @Ada by the sounds of it ha ha x1
