As always Sat. is generally a good day regardless of the weather for me. It's the day i go to the local library in Stretford to the Knitting Club. We sit in the main hall next to the children's library knit, crochet have a cup of tea/coffee. The library have given us a cupboard to put our tea. sugar, coffee and other knitting items in and let us use the kitchen to brew. We swap patterns, wool and generally have a good natter plus helping each other if stuck with anything. The library is doing the history of women's football ladies & asked us if we could knit some footballers to go on a display in the area sometime in May (not sure where but sometime in May) i think. They have also asked i believe the other local knitting clubs.0

That sounds great @Brenda1946 nice you have something to do and get to socialise
I used to knit till I became visually impaired I do miss being able to do stuff like that0 -
Hi Janer1967 Thanks for your reply. It must be terrible not to be able to do the things you like, you say to yourself i could do that. My stroke has left me with limited use of my left side especially effects my left shoulder & all down my left side. The staff at Trafford Stroke Unit helped me to find away but most of it is trial & error (if stuck stuffing or sewing up my husband does it for me). Have you managed to find another interest? The one thing i am having problems with is finding someone to show me how i can swim again. Have been to the baths and tried but feel i need professional advice,0

never heard of those before, i hope they work for you @lisathomas50, moles must be a right pain digging up the garden
As for me i'm ok, just had a couple of seizures today, annoying as i wanted to get out and do some artwork, but it wipes me out for the day, never mind tomorrows another day as they say, should be used to them by now but it really gets on my nerves, anyway hope every ones day improves0 -
Just back from the shop, wasn't leaving it any later, delivery not come, not answering phone or emails. Its cash on delivery, so their problem if I was out. So much for supporting local businesses.
@Brenda1946 it's good to see you getting out and doing what you enjoy0 -
