I use to do that to my father-in-law (I'm now long divorced) many moons ago. As soon ad I stopped you could feel the curtains twitch. At least he never had any hassle.
I can remember one weekday morning about 07.30 I was coming along one of the side roads and noticed my fiance by the bus stop heading into work. I stopped just past the bus stop put the blue light on (no siren) and reversed (no other cars in the road) back to the bus stop. My colleague and I jumped out of the car and approached my fiance..
I said "no talking. Just get in the car we've been looking everywhere for you"... My fiance(who was short and butter wouldn't melt.) just shrunk, everyone else at the bus stop looked aghast. We escorted her to the car and drove off still with the blue light going until we got round the corner. Wethen drove her to work (she was a civilian at the station I worked out of.)

Talking of cells..... One day a group of Colleagues and I went out for a few drinks when our shift ended. This took longer than expected. We ended up at a club and stayed until closing. We left and went to a cleagues house for a night cap. A few if us left because there was no room whilst a couple of us had nowhere to go because this hadn't been planned. I went to a little sub divisional station where as luck would have it we had no prisoners at that time. So I had a word with the night duty station officer and I opened up the surgeon's room (which was just a cell with added extras) I got out a blanket and spent the next 2 hours sleeping on the surgeon's couch. Then I was woken up by the night duty officer after a couple if hours with a strong black coffee as I was early turn (06.00 - 14.00) I managed to get my duty changed as it would have been ill-advised for me to try and drive and took over as station officer. This particular station was only a sub division and very quiet as luck would have it.2

I've lost 2 cats already this year within 3 weeks of each other and 2 last year too
I can't lose another
Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your furry loved ones. They really do leave a big hole when they go. But just remember how much joy you gave each other.
And they do stay on for the most part, some cats of course can be particularly squirmy.1 -
It's only 13 degrees here. Wet damp day0

22 degrees and sunny here.0

Hi everyone hope you are all having a good weekend and everyone is ok I've had a productive weekend so far I got hold of an old ottoman that was really rough and recycled it however I'm kicking myself for not taking any pictures before I started but never mind I now have a nice usable ottoman.2
