@lisathomas50 I live in Derby you wouldn't get stopped by police where we live come to think about it i haven't actually seen many since lockdown started1
-
My son lives in England and works near Porthmadog in Wales, he hasn't been stopped once. He is a support worked so has all the i.d. if he was to be pulled over0
-
@vikingqueen my daughter live about half an hour away but she refuses to come down in the car as she doesn't want a fine .I've waited this long to see my grandkids another month or so isn't going to hurt .0
-
@vikingqueen it's OK if you have ID where I live we have the new south African and Kent strain they have been doing door step testing we have to wear a face mask outside as well until 31st March0
-
@lisathomas50 my point was he has never been stopped, he has a camper van that has his mountain bike and full camping gear in it so he always looks like he's going on holiday
He travels from here in the north west to Wales twice a week but no one has ever batted an eyelid .

I've just had the email this morning adding me to the list, then literally ten minutes later my GP rang me to advise me I had been added and will be contacted, when I queried he said it was due to my medical conditions.

Yep just check again0
-
@m@MarkN88 well still no emails but I have my health records updated and I think I need a long discussion with my gp . Or some 1 before I lose my marbles.0
-
If you think you should be shielding than yeah definitely have a word with the GP.0
-
@MarkN88 hi its not about shielding as I have a husband in the clinically vulnerable group who has been shielding so have I as much as I can. Its more of will I have to wait just because I am his carer instead of my health conditions if you know what I mean.0
-
Oh right I see. It’s probably worth a quick chat with someone, although I’m not sure how easy it will be to get through to them.0
-
I have no problem getting through to receptionist ask for a call back off 1 of gps which will probably be next week now. I can't sit here and moan but if I do find out I should've been I that group from the start well then ill be on a mission.0

I'm on it now.1

Me too, annoyingly.. I wouldn't mind but they think because I'm on the Autism spectrum and on the cusp of type 2 Diabetes I'm "at risk" and can't even go to the ruddy Tesco to do a weekly food shop, I've got to get my carer to go, that wouldn't be a problem except I don't always have enough cash available to do a BIG shop at Tesco's prices because as much as I trust the carer, I wouldn't feel right letting him use my debit card even though it's contactless so I wouldn't necessarily have to give him the PIN number.

I got the email and its followed up by a letter I received the day after too.
Your local area will have services and volunteers that can help in various situations.
Although, it will vary from area to areas.
I'm trying to follow the letter as much as I can, however I contacted the local council who said they had no volunteers immediately available to help go and fetch my prescription that was ready for collection, I have no friends and family that could do it near by and the pharmacy wouldn't answer their telephone, so I've had to go over myself.0 -
As long as you got it. we get ours delivered so don't have that problem not a very good system if they can't get volunteers for where you live. Hope you told the phamacy off why don't you sign up for delivery? Makes things a lot easier.0
