Hi @Biblioklept did you have a go at making your veg curry darling x
Sorry I never saw this @SueHeath! I miss my notifications!!!

I gave it a try. It wasn't successful :D Everything took me much longer than the timings said and I realised too late that I couldn't finish one step before looking at the next because most of them say "meanwhile..." but I couldn't keep all the steps in my head.

I'm glad I tried it though as I was getting worried I wouldn't even try. And even though it didn't work well practicing my cooking skills can only be a good thing and will mean I speed up!! I did enjoy the naan bread that came with it

But!!! I did cook a pasta dish the next day and it worked well <3. The recipe said to press or grate the garlic but I didn't know how as it's so small so I just chopped it up little and I think that was a mistake but it was a pretty nice meal.

Honestly if you knew how rarely I try anything new or how limited my cooking skills are (normally if I have pasta it's either plain without anything or a jar of sauce thrown over the top) you'd be impressed! Lol

Well done @Biblioklept i'm glad you gave it a go darling, i will say, with out the tools, garlic can be a tricky thing to prepare, if your not used to it. If cooking is something you want to learn, then keep experimenting.
I'm glad your pasta dish turned out. x

I'm sure I won't use it but I ordered a garlic press which looks easy enough. Saves the knives and sharp things and means if I try again I can use that!

I did get a bit stressed over the amounts like "3 cloves of garlic" when each clove was soooo different in size. 3 small ones would barely be the same as one big one and so on. But I know that's probably me over thinking it!
