Hello everyone,
I just joined Scope tonight & welcome to other newbies.
Next week we have been on lockdown for a year.
For alll of us nothing will ever be the same again.
Especially with us disabled people.
If like some you have no family contact & support
who do you turn to?
Is it friends?
No because we all have problems & don't want to talk to friends as they have their own problems & struggles.
Can we talk to our medical team,Doctors,Consultants,Nurses,Community
Link Workers,Mental Health Nurses,Occupational Therapists or full time support workers or carers?
We all have our ways of coping & we all really need someone to talk to.
Whether its about benefits,PIP,health, family or no family & eating or not wanting to because you aren't hungry.
It could be any number of things
If there's a voice for disabled people I'd like to be that voice.
