Hi @cupcake88 - great to hear from you. I'm pleased the advocate has been both understanding & helpful. You must feel like you're in a difficult situation, but hopefully the tribunal will be a way ahead. So sorry you're having to go through this, but again you are showing the strength & resolution you have. You know I have held you in my thoughts & prayers for quite some time my friend, & these continue, xx@Lou67 - you're so kind, despite not feeling great yourself; I hope things improve for you too. Take care both of you, x0

@chiarieds
Thanks a lot for your kind words.I’m feeling a good bit better.
@cupcake88 Hang in there remember, your so strong you've came through so much. And you’ll get through this.
Take care ❤️1 -
Hi every one I’m absolutely petrified one member of staff has been attacked by another patient this is why I don’t leave my room because I’m petrified but I’m getting told in order to be able to go home they have to see me leaving my room .I’m petrified to socialise with others . I’m hardly eating because they don’t let you take food in your room and I can’t cope being in the dinning room . My mental health is worsening in here they haven’t even started me on new meds yet . I’m so scared I’m gonna be here for months .0
-
Hi @cupcake88 - you're certainly not going to be there for months, & your fears are both logical & justified. Hang in there as Lou says, remember you have a tribunal next week. I honestly can't see how they can enforce that you need to socialise before you could go home....it doesn't make a lot of sense. I know it must be so hard for you. Is your partner able to visit you this weekend?

Hi @cupcake88 good luck with your tribunal next week, hopefully a bed will come available soon locally for you.0

Hi every one my partner is coming today can’t wait to see him I’m gonna cry so much when he has to go . I’m so scared my section 2 will turn into a section 3 then they can hold me for up to 3 months .They have no even started me on any new meds yet I have been here a week tomorrow .,I was told there be a bed for me closer to home with in days and I’m still here .What’s the point of me being here if theres no new medication There saying they will start it but there not saying when . Every staff member you can tell does not want to be here I’m so surprised this is a private hospital .The catering and cleaning staff are really nice .There’s a nice patient here who braids every ones hair so she’s been braiding my hair so I have been leaving my room abit and I go to the sewing groups I made a plushy animal and a Pom Pom critter thing which I can go to hobby craft and make this stuff at home .Im getting no benefit From being here just petrified.0

Morning cupcake. I’m so sorry to hear your still feeling so frightened.
So glad your partner is coming to see you today.
Nice to hear there’s someone that you feel comfortable with.
Good to hear your leaving your room a bit more.
Please hang in there your such a strong woman you've came through much worse than this and I’m sure this will only make you stronger. I know doesn’t seem like it just now. Just remember your a great person and we all care for you.
Take care ❤️0 -
So pleased your partner is coming today @cupcake88 & I'm sure that will help enormously. We're all willing you through this, & you know you're in our thoughts. I hope you will be able to get something to eat today whilst your partner is there; do try & look after yourself for him, & all of us, xx

Thanks so much for the support on here I’m so glad I have you all as my amazing friends . I have my appeal next week but every one I have spoken to there appeals wasn’t successful . So I won’t get my hopes up .I have a feeling I’ll be here for months and it’s scared me seems like they want people to stay here for the sake of it.0
-
@cupcake88 they usually want people out ASAP to free up beds. Take care and best wishes.0

Because I’m a out of area nhs patient surely they would want to keep me here as there getting paid by my local area . Every one in here is a nhs patient I have been told and every one is a out of area patient so they must get loads of money for keeping us in here . That’s what’s worrying me that they will just keep me in here for months xx0
-
There are just no beds in my local area some people in here are 7 hours from home which must be even more scary and horrible0
-
Hi friends I just saw my partner I cried when he had to go I’m still crying now . It’s the not knowing how long I’m gonna be here for that’s making me worst .0
-
I just can’t stop crying0

You will be alright @cupcake88 - try & stay calm; remember, tell yourself you will be fine, & think positively. The unknown is unsettling to say the least, but you need to concentrate on staying well to get through this, then there will be no reason to stay in this hospital longer than initially thought, if that. Stay positive for next week's tribunal. There's always hope, & we all need that at times. Keep well, stay strong my dear friend, xx

I can only imagine how tricky it must be to deal with the uncertainty @cupcake88. I'm glad that you managed to spend some time with your partner. Although it was upsetting to see him leave, was it good to spend some time together?
Have you spoken to the staff there to see why they haven't started you on your new medication yet? Although they might not be able to tell you when you'll be able to go on it, they might be able to give you an indication as to why?
In the meantime, try to continue engaging with the sewing group and communicating with the staff there. You've got this0 -
Hi @cupcake88 stay strong and think about all the good things you want to do to help you get better and feel stronger hopefuly things will be sorted for you soon ? stay strong
Take care x0 -
@cupcake88 sorry to hear you are in hospital and a long way from home. I relate as it has happened to me. I hope you can get a bed near home very soon and recover well. Stay strong.0

Hello all my amazing friends I saw the ward doctor today basically I was given staff assisted leave today for a hour tomorrow I get to go on the grounds on my own and she said by thur they will take me off my section so I have more freedom and then my discharge is set for next Monday and I’m going home with half the meds I came in with but I’m so desperate to get out of here I’ll let my doctor in the community give me a meds review . Thanks to each and every one of you for your support and well wishes xx1
