Thank you so much ?I have fibromyalgia diagnosed last year after five years of chronic pain I also have chronic fatigue and ulcerative colitis. Haven’t been able to work for five years I’m 49 and have worked all my life. It’s taken over my life I am learning to live with it but am desperate to work the fatigue is more debilitating than the pain. I’ve been looking for help since I was diagnosed but there doesn’t seem to be any support for people with invisible disabilities who want to work around their illness. Any advice would be greatly received!!0

Thanks for sharing a bit about your situation @clairetownshendpayne. I'm sure it must be difficult to cope with those symptoms, and can imagine that it'd make the thought of work a little daunting.
Have you ever heard of reasonable adjustments? I'd definitely recommend looking into those, as you can request that employers make adjustments in the workplace that enable you to do your job.
You may also be interested in one of Scope's employment services. They can help you to feel more confident in looking and applying for jobs, and finding employment that works for you. All of the teams are lovely, so I'm sure they'd be happy to help if you're eligible.
