Can you tell us exactly what it says on your UC statements? It will have all the elements you're entitled to as well as the SDP transitional element.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
So I would expect standard allowance £509.91, housing element £353, LCWRA £343.63 and SDPTE £110 = £1,316.43.
Deduction for your wife’s ESA (£494.43/month) = £822.11 but you say it’s only £759.
You could increase your UC entitlement by having one of you declare yourself a carer for the other. You would get the carer element of £163.73 but would lose the SDPTE. That would still increase your entitlement by £53.73/month, however if your figure of £759 is correct that would still result in nil UC after your SP starts.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.
