Sorry had a benefit Check and every time we told it right

Can you tell us exactly what it says on your UC statements? It will have all the elements you're entitled to as well as the SDP transitional element.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

    So I would expect standard allowance £509.91, housing element £353, LCWRA £343.63 and SDPTE £110 = £1,316.43.

    Deduction for your wife’s ESA (£494.43/month) = £822.11 but you say it’s only £759.

You could increase your UC entitlement by having one of you declare yourself a carer for the other. You would get the carer element of £163.73 but would lose the SDPTE. That would still increase your entitlement by £53.73/month, however if your figure of £759 is correct that would still result in nil UC after your SP starts.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.
