Where's the nearest Blue Badge parking to Betty's in York? Can I take my mobility scooter in?

I'm visiting York on Tuesday as friends from London want to sight see & have afternoon tea at Betty's. 2 Questions. A. Where is the nearest Blue Badge parking to Betty's and B. Can I take my mobility scooter into Betty's or would I have to chance leaving it outside? Many thanks in anticipation of your help.

PS, It's Mrs New B because I recently married so my surname is new, just in case anyone wondered.

Hi @MrsNewB -  welcome to the community, & congratulations upon your recent marriage. As regards Betty's, perhaps contact them for info beforehand. I'm hoping this link may also help: https://www.visityork.org/visitor-information/accessibility

    Hi there

Having visited Betty's I would say you wouldn't get in with a mobility scooter also the dining area is upstairs but they may have lift

I would check first to avoid disappointment

Sorry not sure about parking as it is in the pedestrian area of town

Hello @MrsNewB, Happy Halloween and welcome to the community :)

I'm very jealous, afternoon tea at Betty's is a lovely experience, I'm sure you'll have a great time. I think it would be a good idea to call them ahead of time and ask them directly about your mobility scooter. You can find their contact details on this page, which also includes a section about access information.
