Pip award backpay. Has anyone been told it'll come in within 3 to 5 days?
Thanks

Great news. That payment does seem rather quick. Based on other threads it often takes a few weeks. Once payment is made then it takes 3-5 working days to go into your bank.1

Thank you, yes I did think that as it doesn't say anywhere on Google about payments taking less than 4 weeks... but the women on the phone never mentioned anything about a few weeks she just said the money should be in my account by the end of the week aswell as recieving a desicion letter?
I guess I just have to wait and see I suppose0 -
Is this payment for a new claim as I rang dwp today and was told my decision was made yesterday Tuesday and that my backdated payment should be in my account Friday wich is 3 working days does this mean I could be waiting up to 4 weeks for my backdated payment to go into my bank ??? Mine is a new claim if that helps0

Mine is a new claim if that helpsYour case is different. This thread is about DWP contacting the person with an award offer. Therefore, backdated money can take a few weeks in cases like this. For you because you aren't at this stage then it's 3-5 working days for money in your bank after the decision's been made.If you were told Friday then i would expect it to be then.0

Ah, I've just commented on another thread where you've been asking questions. I see that it wasn't a typo with the incorrect bank details. This means you will very likely not receive it on 30th. The payment will need to be returned by the bank to DWP. Once this is done they will be able to re-issue the payment but how long that takes is anyone's guess.
I see that wasn't a typo with your bank details, as I've just seen your other comment on another thread. Please see that comment.

I completed a bank switch over, wouldn't my closed account send it over to my new account

Yes, if you used the banks switching service. You didn't mention that in your comment above, you said you were waiting for the bank to return the payment to DWP.

Sorry the whole process hasbeen stressing me out.. Do u know how long it takes to transfer money into new account

It should automatically be done by the switching service, there’s no extra time you need to wait.
