Hi, I'm pat76! I'm looking at electric scooters. Is there anything I can do to get a VAT exemption?

i have copd and cant walk but a few paces so my husband pushes me in a wheelchair, he now has a bad back and so we are looking at electric scooters i am registered as disabled at ableworld but is there anything else i need to do to get a vat exemption as this would be a big help.
