Pip assessment. Can you ask for a telephone assessment instead of face to face?

Can you ask for a telephone assessment instead of face to face? I have PTSD and Autism which makes face to face impossible. I can’t do face to face that’s my biggest struggle is communicating face to face I cope better on a phone call but still struggle

    In a previous thread you said you were recently refused PIP, is that correct? https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/88321/refused-pip-where-do-i-go-from-here#latest
    Unless you've recently reapplied then there will be no further assessments. If you're requesting the Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) there's no assessment for this. Tribunals are mostly by telephone at the moment but this may change in the furture.

    Yes I was. before I go for a MR i wanted to know if you can request telephone assessment

    You can yes but this doesn't apply to you now because you won't need another assessment for this claim.
