I'm new to this group so firstly would line to say Hi.
I’ve just received my Assessment Report after I requested it. I haven’t heard from DWP regarding my Award yet, but based on what I’ve read I’m pre-empting I will lose my Mobility Enhanced award due to an error by my Assessor.
She has said I don’t need assistance when I go out and I can plan a journey based on my last award which she said was descriptor b. My last award was actually descriptor f so I got the enhanced section of Mobility. Will the Case Manager pick up on this? As it is completely incorrect! I have several health issues and one of them is CPTSD due to almost 40 years of Violence in many sections from my ex husband. He is serving time for the atrocities he did to me. I can’t even go to the extent how this has left me in fear of leaving the house, the Assessor has completely ignored this. Feeling so down about this. This is a review by the way

Hi,The assessment report is part of the evidence they use to support your claim and is their opinion based on everything you sent and what you said during the assessment. Before the decision's made they will look at everything, including the report. Having said that, there's no harm in contacting DWP to ask for a decision maker to ring you so you can point this out.Once the decision is made if you're not happy you can request the Mandatory Reconsideration (MR)1

Hi yes I understand that’s what it should be and they had evidence from my GP that he re diagnosed me and the beginning of this year to Complex PTSD so my situation has got worse not better which she completely ignored.I had all the Mandatory Reconsideration when I first applied in 2017 and it took them until 2019 to finally agree my award. Really good I don’t have to go down that route again
thank you for your reply it’s most appreciated0
