    Hello @Nicetomeetyou22

    Great question. We all know the food threads generate the most discussion! For lunch today, I had a cheese and tomato wrap. What did you have?  :)

    Hi @Nicetomeetyou22

    Ooh, homemade chicken curry, rice, popadoms, and nan bread sounds delicious! I hope it tastes as good as it sounds. Also, toast is a great option for earlier in the day. Do you like anything on your toast? I am a jam on toast kind of girl  :)

    @L_Volunteer I have autism so I'm very picky eater and I have a phobia of baked beans yes I know it may sound stupid 😋  but when I'm making meals for kids and my partner and they involve beans I get very agitated

    @Nicetomeetyou22 I'm sorry you don't eat well I'm afraid my relationship with food is too good. I do 5end to just have 1 meal a day though unless I have some toast

    Just wish my body knew I don't eat much . But that's down to no exercise really going to have to get my act together and start some wheelchair exercises

    Hi all - food mmmmm but i am going to sound like a Mother now ha ha ;

    TUT TUT TUT

    Food is important for our body's - like fuel is to a car
    With out it we wont work properly - you can get tired - headaches - stressed - lack of concentration - problems with sugar levels - the list can go on.

    Some times not eating enough can also cause you to put weight on as the body goes into famine mode and hangs on to what it gets.

    Lecture over ha ha - i'd better think about having my breakfast now - so i don't raid the biscuit tin later x

    @SueHeath I have struggled for years with food because of childhood trauma and that's where my anxiety/social anxiety comes from because of what happend to me I just can't seem to love my body I'm a size 12 going down from size 24 since Xmas 2017 and I'm not dieting or trying to lose weight now my gp is on about putting me on meal replacements drinks I do hope you're OK xx

    @Nicetomeetyou2 – Fair enough! I am autistic too so I can understand some of your relationship with food. When you say your anxiety has got the better of you recently, so you haven’t eaten much lately, could you tell me more about what that looks like for you if you feel comfortable? The same with @janer1967 too actually, please. I just want to make sure you are all well and taking care of yourselves.

    @MarkM88 – Mmm a buffet lunch sounds delicious! What kinds of food were on the buffet lunch at the conference? I know they can be wide-ranging. I am glad you enjoyed it  :)

    @L_Volunteer morning I don't know tbh if I don't like the look of food or sometimes even the colour or smell I won't eat it tbh

    That's fair enough @Nicetomeetyou22. As long as you are eating the foods you feel comfortable with and are taking care of yourself by ensuring you have energy from the foods you eat and are not hungry. What are your views on refrigerated sandwiches? Personally, that is one that my autism really does not like!  :D

    @L_Volunteer tbh I don't eat sandwiches full stop but sandwiches in shop fridges they give me goosebumps 😳  as you don't know who has made them or where there hands have been lol I won't eat anything unless it's made by myself tbh 😅
