So last night i decided it would be a really good idea to begin repotting and propagating my indoor cacti and succulents . Ended up doing 10 out of 12 ,only stopped because i ran out of cacti compost and it was 9pm and i was hungry 😂 .Some ive had a couple of years , some ive bought in the last week , i love a bargain so some were less than £1 😊 . Happy days ! It really helped with my concentration and focus (something i struggle with) and i felt a huge sense of achievement ... Go me !! It definately helps my Mental Health 😊
Anyone else grow these ? 🌵🌱

Really pleased you enjoyed your project, i'm no good with indoor plants but i do love my garden, its my happy place. Keep up the good work x1

@SueHeath , thanks ! I love gardening as well , and its most definately my happy place also.
I love Lavenders,Hebes and roses. Ive been stocking up on Lavenders in the sales because i plan to make a Lavender bed in the back garden . Take care 😊1 -
That's great to hear @ProudMumForever I have 5 cacti, that I've had for around 6 years I think. Some of them are looking a little worse for wear, but are still going. I'm terrible at keeping plants alive, so cacti work well for me
I have a 'grow your own cacti' kit that I haven't set up yet. Have you ever tried doing one of those?0 -
Any pictures??0

I've never had cactus, I've been looking at flowers on line. I've got a few flowers plants have already come through early this year. Got a red rose Bush that is starting to take off that I've had 3 years. I get coffee grains from Starbucks, they pack their used coffee in bags to use as feed. Its free also.1

Yes @Tori_Scope they've done it for a few years now, All the used coffee grains they put in small sealed bags, there quite big too, bigger then a bag of sugar, they put them in a basket at the front of the counter, free for garden feed. Link below for information.

Just sprinkle it on top of flower beds, plants.1 -
@Sandy_123 Waitrose had coffee grounds outside also, at least one near me did but not another a few miles away. I think it was when they gave you a free coffee a couple of years ago. So I suppose they don’t do it anymore.
is it good for all plants or only roses 🌹?0 -
@leeCal oh do they, I don't have a waitrose near me or in my town, the nearest one is about 10 miles away. Coffee is good for the plants, I sprinkle it on all flower beds every year. I took 3 bags from Starbucks last year, still got one unopened.some information below.

@Teddybear12 hiya . I know how you feel,i cant have any plants in the house other than the kitchen because of our cat , he would destroy them ,and many plants are poisonous to cats so i dont take the risk . Hes an indoor cat so he cant destroy my garden !
8 years to have a cactus is good ! Take care 😊1 -

Hey @Sandy_123 , ive never hear of the coffee tip but i do know that using used tea leaves, either fresh or from a tea bag , letting them dry out , they make great rose feed ,just sprinkle around the rose bush 🌹 .0
