Hi. I have found some of the discussions and posts here helpful so I thought I should finally join. I am struggling right now because PIP are taking forever to sort out my reassessment and not knowing is very difficult for me, so I think joining this community is going to be helpful and hopefully I can help others too
My username is Mixedbag because I am a bag of mixed conditions lol as I'm sure some people here must understand.
I'm not sure what is too much info to give (thanks autism) and I don't know much about this site really in terms of how it works but if anyone has any of the same issues as me I am totally down to talk to anyone who needs it
I am autistic, use a wheelchair, have suspected ADHD (long time waiting for that appointment), have endometriosis, ehlers danlos type 3, POTS, chronic headaches, CPTSD, anxiety, depression, disordered eating, GERD, probably something else but I forget lol. Oh, yeah. Insomnia
I am 23 and live with my mum who is my advocate.
It's very hard to find people who understand how difficult life can be trying to access the world when you are disabled, and whilst I'm sad that so many of us have to go through it, I am glad there are communities like this.
Hope everyone is OK. I personally hate cold months

Hello there @Mixedbag and welcome to the community, I hope you'll find it a welcoming and supportive place I don't like cold moths either, I'm very much looking forward to spring!
Don't worry about knowing how the site works, it's really positive to hear you'd like to share your experiences and chat with everyone here. You can browse topics on our categories page and join in whenever you are ready.
There's also the coffee lounge, which is a great place to get to know our members, chat about your day, or even play some games.
I'm sorry to hear PIP is making you feel like you're struggling, but the community is always here for advice and support. Please ask if you have any questions, or any worries you'd like to put to rest.
I'll look forward to seeing you around the forum soon!
