Morning @Geegeenumber1 don't forget if it's manual work you've got to do you will need some calories to help get the body moving.
I'm not great at eating first thing in the morning, i usually wait for my body to wake up better - i'll be having my usual mini shreaded wheat with chopped dates, clementine will certainly wake up your tummy, hope you enjoy your frosties.

Bless you @Geegeenumber1 i do sympathize with you - i have become more immobile as the past three years with my health has deteriorated and i have noticed my own weight increasing it must be to do will not being able to move around as much. That was very brave of you to have the surgery hope you've healed now.

Now you've explained i understand more - so less calories and MORE water for the brain cells ha ha

yes the surgery was the best decision i ever made thank you - yes i eat little meals now but you still get the mind hunger sometimes. I wont eat the frosties for the sake of it i dont think il leave it for a bit and see how i feel in an hour or two as thats the old habit to keep eating and eating just caus it tastes good

yes i used to be super fit and trim in fact i caused my knee injury lifting heavy weights but then grew obese not being able to get out and about anymore im hoping when i lose all my weight hopefully by august they will put me forward for knee surgery and it will be a success which would be life changing

but in the meantime in a way its better i cant be out and about too much as it allows me to just sit and focus on my studies

im hoping to start exercise in the water once i have a bit more free time as this is the only exercise i can really can do at the moment

Porridge sounds a good one @janer1967. I am similar to you as I don't tend to eat first thing either. Though, I have just had some sausages and beans with a piece of bread. Almost brunch!  :)

to be honest my eating habits since surgery have gotten worse! Before surgery I was all about smoked salmon and avocado, water and black coffee now I have junk food whenever I fancy just in small portions! I need to sort it out ha ha

Well I'm a journalist and masters student so it's a discussion on the public and media's perception of social workers! I will be part of the live panel! I need my wits about me!

Wow now that is an interesting role.

Do you think by having the opp mentally you think its okay to eat anything, bit like when my husband was put on cholesterol meds he thought it was okay to eat as many packets of pork scratchings as he likes.

ha ha not really. It's like I sit and eat 6 donuts . I buy multipacks of cokes but I'll only have one when I really fancy it. I drink 2l of water a day and I have half a glass of 100% juice not from concentrate juice (because of the sugar content) with breakfast usually - I never used to touch sugar

The main thing is I'm simply free of diets

For years I was on keto and had no sugar at all except keto friendly sugar alternatives with say homemade mousse and stuff. It was awful I loved having like big steak salads and salmon and veg and stuff but I couldnt eat normal things like what I had yesterday - a jacket with butter and beans and a sausage roll - yesterday I had all of that but just a small portion. I wont put on weight, its not the healthiest but its not gonna kill me

When I wasnt doing keto I would constantly eat well balanced healthy homemade meals like cottage or fish pie, seabass and new potatoes and spinach that type of thing but never lost weight as loved the food too much and never could control the calories enough now I hvae enough of what I fancy to feel full and I stop when Ive had enough so its the best of both worlds

It really is a dream come true

im also saving a fortune as I can buy kids meals - fish and chips in the pub is 3.99 instead of 10.99 and its amazing how much they give kids! ha ha
