Hi there, i have been putting in sick notes from april 2020 finally got a health assessment march 14 th 2022 .i recieved a letter on my journal saying i have been awarded lcwra from the 16th of march 2022 and any monies owed i would recieve a letter in journal in 7 days.
ive spoke to the call centre and the gentlemen says i wouldnt be awarded as only deemed lcwra from the 16th march whereas my work coach told me i would be awarded from three months after sick notes has begun, im really confused and have asked again in my journal to speak to my case manager, any help would be appreciated xx

The person you spoke to at the call centre will have almost no knowledge of the benefits system because it's just someone at a call centre, not someone from DWP. They mostly read from a screen. I wouldn't advise anyone to ring them for this sort of advice. The waiting period starts from when you first reported your health condition. As advised in your previous thread, it will be paid from either July or August depending on the exact dates. Previous thread here.It can often take longer than 1 week to work out exactly how much is owed. Put a message onto your journal under the payment section and ask about the money that's owed to you. Before they can pay you they need to recalculate your past statements. This is assuming you're not claiming UC with a partner that already receives the LCWRA element on your claim.
