Hi  I've never masterbated, just lost my husband 2yrs ago and I  read that it's healthy for me to pleasure myself.  Help, need the basics of buying my first vibrator

    I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your husband, I hope you are managing okay and have received support to recover emotionally through what must have been a really tough time.

    I'd echo what Ross has already said, in that everyone's different, and it can often be a case of trial and error when finding out what toys or techniques work for you. Have you had a chance to take a look online to see if there are any you like the look of?
