Good morning.
I stumbled across this place while looking for information about housing for our autistic son.I'm not really expecting to find any answers but it might be good to talk to parents who've found themselves in similar situations.

I've only just started looking to be honest,I was just curious about what other parents in my position have done and what sort of difficulties they faced.0

Thank you so much @L_Volunteer.
Our son is an an autistic adult who's never worked and he's only had two job interviews since he graduated in 2015.
I have no idea where to start so any help would be much appreciated.0 -
Scope have a work program he could look at? I've not used it but it's been mentioned on here a few times. What sort of work would suit him @teigr?0

Here's a link to the employment services that Biblioklept has mentioned @Teigr0

He's got a degree in IT @Biblioklept,he's not great with people and really needs something that doesn't involve too much interaction with the general public.
He's been doing 'voluntary work' (half a day every week)in a shop that's supposed to train people with disabilities for a career in retail, but he's been there since 2016.1 -
Thank you @Tori_Scope,I'll check it out.0
