Hello everyone. I have been a chronic pain patient since 2003/2004 when I was diagnosed (almost simultaneously) with degenerative disc disease of my lumbar spine and Crohn's disease.  Then in 2019 I missed a 3/4" step down from a patio to a pool deck at a house we were looking to purchase and I fell and broke my right arm.  As a result of the fall, I wound up herniating 3 discs in my cervical spine. I have been receiving treatment for my cervical spine and now I will be receiving treatment for my lumbar spine.

Thank you for introducing yourself, you've clearly been through a lot but it's good that you have received treatment for your symptoms and will hopefully continue to do so.

A warm welcome to the community from me too @jerseygirlsone I also wanted to thank you for sharing your experiences with us. I agree it sounds as though you've been through a lot. Do you have a good support network around you to help you manage?

Along with the categories Ross pointed you towards, I thought you might want to check out our chronic pain and pain management category. We have plenty of members here who live with chronic pain, so you're in good company. Do you have any tips to share with other members who might be in a similar position to you?
