Hi good evening everyone i wonder if anyone has any information on uc . I have a new condition sciatica and reported it to uc on my existing claim and also uploaded a new fit note detailing my condition. I had an appointment with the work coach booked for Friday but it has been cancelled on my journal ,and a note was left saying my appointment won't be till October now and they will be quarterly. Will my work commitments change now and will I have to sign a new one, what is the process. I spoke to an agent and they said I should be receiving payments, and I need to go into my journal let uc know they need to amend this. I'm still confused , I thought they would read my journal and know all the information. Can anyone help please

I note that in April your appeal for LCWRA had been adjourned. Has a decision been made on that yet?0

Hi poppy thank you for replying. No haven't received a decision and haven't heard anything at all they have my medical notes and I also sent new medical evidence0

Then you need to be very careful regarding reporting changes to your health condition. Your work coach could refer you for another work capability assessment and the whole process will start again. Any decision made on the new one, will overrule any decision made by the Tribunal.
The reason you’re not receiving extra money at the moment is because you weren’t found to have LCWRA.
Your work coach has likely used their discretion and reduced your work commitments but no, you won’t need to sign anything.0 -
@poppy123456 Thank you for information. Didn't know I would be asked to do another work capability assessment again,oh dear. I hope not. I thought if my condition worsens I'm supposed to update them ,otherwise I would have left it.The work coach was told by the case worker to reduces my appointments as it was wrong. Fingers crossed I dont have to go through it all again. Thank you again0

Not all worsening of conditions need to be reported. Even more so for you at this stage because you're still waiitng for the Tribunal hearing. Although the Tribunal will not take into consideration a worsening of condition since the assessment took place.
