I have used hemp cream but am totally unimpressed with it - it did nothing that vaseline can't do
I suffer from excruciating pain from my knees and back -that cause me to freeze with the pain - this claims to help

I can sympathise whole heartedly with you Wibbles, I have similar problems due to nerve root damage. No cartilage in both knee joints, no fluid inside my knees but fluid on them and to top it off my sciatic nerve is irritated from my hips to my toes.

I've use quite a few different types of CBD. They're all safe, you don't have any side effects of THC as cbd is either extracted however most manufacturers grow cbd plants and use those.

From all the CBD I've tried this by The Yorkshire Vaper is by far the most effective.
You just drip around 7/8 drops under your tongue and it starts working in around 10/15 mins

    https://www.eliquidemporium.co.uk/product/sense-cbd-yorkshire-vaper/

The 300mg 10ml bottle usually lasts me for roughly 3 weeks

I highly recommend trying it for sure, you won't be disappointed

How do you ensure that only 7 drops go on your tongue

Under your tongue, not on it.

The way the bottle is designed there is tip under the cap. Apply under tongue infront of a mirror to enable you to count the drops.

I don't think anyone should buy drugs @sheliaarisa - rather, just see your Dr/specialist to see what they may be able to prescribe if deemed helpful. However CBD isn't a drug, tho always best to consult your GP/pharmacist before taking as it can interact with the majority of prescribed meds if taken at the same time/ without a 2-4 hour window. Leaving a time gap should ensure most prescribed meds & CBD can be taken safely, but discuss with your GP/pharmacist first.

Surely CBD is a drug - derived from Hemp
Drugs of different classes include atropine, scopolamine, and hyoscyamine (all from nightshade), the traditional medicine berberine (from plants such as Berberis and Mahonia), caffeine (Coffea), cocaine (Coca), ephedrine (Ephedra), morphine (opium poppy), nicotine (tobacco), reserpine (Rauvolfia serpentina

In the context mentioned here, CBD isn't a drug, tho it can be prescribed as Epidyolex but just in the case of children with severe epilepsy (Lennox-Gastaut or Dravet syndromes). There's also Sativex which contains a significant amount of THC, & is in the form of an oromucosal spray (used in the treatment of MS for example as an adjunct to a person's anti spasmodic meds).
The CBD we can legally buy in the UK must contain no more than 0.2% THC & is sold as a food supplement. Please see: https://www.food.gov.uk/safety-hygiene/cannabidiol-cbd
I remember when I had a conversation with the pharmacist attached to my GP's surgery 4 years ago, she checked with the Electronic Medical Compendium (https://www.medicines.org.uk/emc/) to confirm that the med I take isn't metabolised by the liver (cytochrome P450 complex) as she couldn't check for any drug interactions between my med & CBD as CBD isn't listed as a drug in this resource that pharmacists use. Please ask your pharmacist to avoid any doubt.

Thanks - I have had a look at interactions and can see none between Naproxen and Epidyolex (the only CBD-like "drug" mentioned)
70mg per day appears to be the safe limit - I am taking just 10mg per day !

Hi @Wibbles - as I previously mentioned to yourself, it would be wise to leave a 4 hour gap between taking Naproxen & CBD as both are metabolised at the same place in the liver: https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/96972/cbd-gummies
This is why a person should discuss CBD with a pharmacist or their GP, & ask if any of their meds are metabolised by cytochrome P450. Naproxen is definitely one, but again, please check with a pharmacist.

I did ask the pharmacist at my GPs for advice and was told that it should be safe but she had a lack of knowledge on the subject
So this will reduce the efficasy of Naproxen or something else ?
I take naproxen at about 8am(Breakfast) and CBD at lunchtine and a 2nd Naproxen at 5:30 (teatime) - so that should be OK ?

What could happen if you took Naproxen & CBD at the same time potentially could be that your Naproxen didn't work, or, by CBD being metabolised (broken down) at the same time as your Naproxen, your Naproxen couldn't then be metabolised, so you could end up with an accidental overdose of Naproxen.
As how you indicate you're taking Naproxen & CBD with an appropriate time gap, all should be safe & well. Everyone's metabolism is different, & I've seen suggested a 2-4 hour gap......erring on the safe side I usually say leave a 4 hour gap between taking such meds & CBD.
I'm sorry your pharmacist wasn't able to help, but good that you asked them. I've done an awful lot of research on CBD over the past 4+ years, & know where to look about meds that need a certain time gap to be taken safely with CBD.

Thank you for your input @L_Volunteer - personally I feel anyone considering CBD should have the best available info, which they undoubtedly deserve. However, please don't hesitate to contribute to this thread with your knowledge about CBD.
A person should however first consult their pharmacist (as wibbles has done). Having researched a lot about CBD, I'll stand by the info I've given, as his pharmacist was unable to help.

Still no noticeable pain relief from the CBD - So when the months supply runs out - I will not replace it
    It was worth trying though
