Hello there @Kazzabod and a warm welcome to the community. I hope you'll find it a friendly and knowledgeable place. Thank you for joining.
I'm really sorry to hear life isn't great right now, is there anything in particular making things difficult? Perhaps we can help?
Thanks for telling us a bit about yourself, I know we have a few members with spinal stenosis, so you might like to visit our Chronic Pain and Pain Management category to connect with them
Please do have a look around the forum if you'd like to, you can find all the latest conversations in our recent discussions category, all the different topics in our categories page, and you can meet and chat with other members over in our virtual coffee lounge too.
Let us know if we can help with anything, and I hope you enjoy your evening!

I'm under a spinal team but haven't seen them for 2 years due to covid0

That is frustrating @Kazzabod, have the team given you an indication of when you might be seen?0

I have an appointment next week.....all I've had for 2 years are telephone appointments. This next week is a face to face appointment. I'm in agony and hope to be offered surgery but God knows how long I'll wait for that!!!!!!0

Sorry to hear that you are in agony at the moment. It's good that you have an appointment to attend next week, hopefully that goes well and you can get more support as a result. If you are offered surgery, I hope the wait isn't as long as you anticipate.
The past couple of years have been quite challenging for appointments with doctors and medical professionals haven't they? While some people have managed with with remote appointments, there are some things for which an in-person appointment is much more beneficial.0 -
I do need to compose myself cos when I talk about my condition I cry. I thought I might write my symptoms/feelings down and ask the Dr to read it0

Writing things down sounds like a good idea, in case you feel as though it will be too difficult to talk about how you feel with your GP.Kazzabod said:I do need to compose myself cos when I talk about my condition I cry. I thought I might write my symptoms/feelings down and ask the Dr to read it0
