Medical Services will assess your health on behalf of Universal Credit.

Your fit note only started from 21 October 2022 and the referral was made to them on 25 October 2022 - so just last week.   Found this on my UC

Then your first payment will be 28th Feb and no LCWRA element is owed. I don’t understand what the issue is. When you receive your next statement you need to check that the element is included.

That doesn’t make sense if you reported on 24th October because it is after that AP it means Oct to Nov would be ignored and Nov to Dec would be the first full period and you will only be due the LCWRA payment commencing for the Feb to March payment.

But in that case have correctly identified Dec to Jan as the second month!

Exactly so I don’t understand the reason for the question. I already answered their question of when their first payment will be.

I'm assuming you're asking about the LCWRA element and when it's paid from? I have no idea what those dates refer to so impossible to help.

If you've been found to have LCWRA what date did you report your health condition/send your first fit note? and what date do you usually receive your money each month?

Hi ,I No understanding how lcwra payment work, On 11/04/2023 i have Work capability assessment, today i get on my Universal credit account letter about im awarded lcwra, and nothin more information, when they stary to pay that element?I upload my sick note in November 2022,my UC payment date its on 6th each month, thank you for any answer

It will be either March or April for your first LCWRA payment. When it's paid from exactly will depend on what date exactly you sent your first fit note and whether you continued to send them without any gaps until a decision was made on your assessment.

The waiting period starts from when you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note. 

When it’s paid from exactly will depend on what date you reported your health condition and what date you usually receive your money each month.

18th april first sick note
19th april refferred for assesment
25th may second fit note provided

24th june awarded lcwra

27th june got JULY statement no lcwra payment included
UC payments are made on 3rd of every month

Your waiting period will be April to July.. LCWRA starts from 27th July to 26th August and first payment will be 3rd September. No LCWRA element is owed.

Hi just wondering if anyone can help me understand the process and how long before I'll be paid/back paid 

I reported my first sick note 9th June 2023 and have been updating UC with a new one every 28 days since then. My assessment was 1st December, I received knowledge of my entitlement yesterday evening (6th December).

My payment date is 29th every month and split into two payments. A note on my journal explains I will receive an extra £309 from my next AP statement - however the same note informs me of a 3 month wait before LCWRA takes effect. 

I don't understand what this means and would appreciate anyone who could break it down as simply as possible for me.
