Thank you for a warm welcome. Having never attempted to claim any benefits before I was seriously worried about the procedure, I was lucky enough to stumble onto this forum whilst searching various pip questions online and it certainly helped to put my mind at rest a little and proved I was not alone, so thank you for that.
I started the pip journey in May this year completing the form myself (with hindsight maybe should've had some help but didn't realise you could ) !! I had a telephone assessment (not video call) on 9th August, received a txt stating pip had received the report could be 8 weeks before decision, Monday this week txt to say I have been awarded pip letter would be with me in 2 weeks, money in bank this morning !! Sorry long drawn out msg but wanted to share my experience. Take care.1 -
