Hi this is all so confusing and new to me. I made a health change on my universal credit journal on 19th of may and handed in my first sick note on the 2nd of june. I’ve been awarded the lcwra, was wondering if I will get any money back dated and when my first payment will be. My assessment period is 8-7 of every month and I usually get payed on the 14th. Thanks for taking the time to read

If this was your first work capability assessment then there's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time and the extra money is then paid from the 4th month of your claim. It's not paid at all durin that waiting period.Based on the above information your waiting period will be June/July, July/August, August/Sept.. LCWRA starts from AP 8th Sept to 7th Oct and first payment will be 14th October. No money is owed for LCWRA element.1
