Hi to all the Scope Community. I hope you are fairing fairly well. Its all we can do but try. My name is Nick.
As a former unpaid carer, bereaved some years ago but not been able to grieve due to housing crisis and in which Housing refuse to acknowledge my Silent Disabilities. I have several conditions but Complex PTSD, of course, Fibromyalgia and Hypersenstivity to noise which is now extremely debilitating and difficult due to the appalling deliberate I allege placements around me to cause me harm, ill. Currently in decant at least!. Disgusting housing association can get away with all their years of antisocial behaviour and management, maladministration etc etc etc and the Regulator of Housing says it does not cover local matters and not interested to act against this housing company but the reputation of the company goes before it. Look them up, Clarion Housing! The CEO of this company was a senior social housing regulator even! Unbelievable.
This all has had a serious impact upon my health and wellbeing naturally, but hey who cares. I fight on. Self help is important.
I have been trying to obtain a good Motor Home with bed area sep on level to no avail. I am on my own and cannot reach my goal despite substantial efforts and cannot get anyone to support me. No matter my accolades for helping others and caring for others aside from my late family. If anyone can help in this goal, please advise.
I am trying to also highlight the plight of unpaid carers and former unpaid carers in my case and that of others which I want to at some point take further. I would like to get back also the my volunteering which was my self therapy also of course. but am unable at this time due to the system and those within it failing and abusing.
With all that is going on these days nationally and internationally we all need to support and help each other. We should not have to tolerate rogue landlords and failings locally or systemically nor indeed a disregard to Disability, silent or otherwise. A new respectful deal is required. We are all awaiting.
Nice to meet you. Have good day and Take care.

Hello and welcome @Niko and thanks for sharing a bit about yourself with the community
You raise a really great point about self help being important, and I also think we can do a lot to support and lift each other during difficult times as well.
Would you like to tell us a bit more about your goal?0 -
Thank you Alex.
My goal is of Crises Emergency status to obtain a Motor Home as a substantial compromise and also not being put on street, displaced, misplaced or bullied and intimidated by Housing. I have endeavoured to no avail. I have no support either. I have contacted many and used social media to help reach this goal to no avail. Despite my good reputation for helping and caring for others, not just my previous unpaid caring role, no one can or will help me it seems. I am very on my own with all this.
So, a MotorHome is the only answer at this time and a very good stepping stone to which I could perhaps get some rest after years of issues and traumas put upon me, plus perhaps get time to grieve for my lost love ones after 6 years of hell and being on effective death row because of Housing people and discriminatory and retaliatory behaviours diverting this. Then get back to some of my renowned charity efforts and work on highlighting for unpaid carers, present and especially former and focusing on getting all unpaid carers a better deal.
I am currently frightened and petrified of all the services who should care but do not.
So, I am not asking for a totally gifted Motorhome to clarify, I am asking help to achieve with the little finance I have and to utilise some of my benefit. Clutching at straws but hey....AN URGENT CHARITABLE DONATION WOULD BE AMAZING AND PERHAPS SAVE ME FROM FURTHER TRAUMA PLUS HELP OTHERS IN THE PROCESS. I USE TO DONATE TO 15 CHARITIES ON DIRECT DEBIT. TOLD I DESERVED MBE FOR MY CARING AND HELPFULNESS TO OTHERS DESPITE MY OWN ISSUES. I AM CRYING FOR HELP. THERE MUST BE SOMEONE OUT THERE THAT CAN MAKE A MOBILE HOME SUITABLE POSSIBLE. IT COULD BE A WIN WIN SITUATION. THANKS.
WE CAN ACHIEVE ONLY TOGETHER?
Thanks again.
Kind Regards. Nick0 -
I am an unpaid carer it is so annoying I can't get carers allowance because it's lower than my benefits get now so again I lose out on the 500.00 pound help for unpaid carers so it doesn't apply to all unpaid carers0
