made a mandatory reconsideration As I wasn’t happy with the decision, I sent my form on the 16th of august the only mistake I done I didn’t send it recorded delivery and just worried it’s been lost or something as I called them few times to check if they received my form has anyone else had the same experience as me ?

You don't need to send anything by recorded delivery because it's a complete waste of money. It still has to go through the same mail sorting process as all other mail going to DWP. It would have been signed by someone from Royal Mail and not someone from DWP. All it would have meant was it would be somewhere in the building of the sorting office.

There's been a couple of Royal Mail strikes and a bank holiday since you posted the letter back and even under normal times, it's not unusual for it to take a few weeks to be added to the computer and it's not classed as arriving until the has happened.

Try not to worry too much because although they tell you that you have 1 month to request the MR, you actually have 13 months, with good reason.

I hope you kept a copy of the letter you send because if the worst happens and it has gone AWOL then you can just send another copy.

Thank you so much for replying back and I really hope they receive it, I do have a copy but only written it down on a piece of paper but hope it gets there thank you for the reply once more have a good weekend

I’m going through the m r process. Was recorded delivery and arrived Friday. The waiting game is horrible
