can't stand the Tories, male or female, doesn't matter they are all cut from the same cloth, wealthy first shrink the state etc etc, the poor can go without, shameful0

Their children are the same who never need to be reminded of manners. I'm very lucky but I do know a lot of lawless children because their parents couldn't care lessMy eldest 2 grew up in the 90's and my youngest in the noughties. Neither of them needed the discipline either because as a single mum through most of their childhood, they knew what was right or wrong. Knew their manners, always said please and thank you and still do now, even though they're all grown up.My eldest daughter has taught my grandson to say please and thank you from a very very young age. He's only 2 and always says those magic words "please and thank you"0

It doesn't cost anything does it Poppy but manners can go a long way, its lovely when they learn so young. My youngest granddaughter is 3 and her manners are impeccable as are the other 4 grandchildren. We single parents do a good job.2

I agree about politeness but it actually cost me a job once. I was with my potential employer when I noticed someone struggling to open a pair of doors whilst holding a heavy weight, so I stepped in and held the doors open for him. I could tell by the managers face that was the moment I lost the interview. Sad but true.
To be be honest I wouldn’t have liked working for such an ignorant person anyway. 😄3 -

When I needed him a few year ago re an issue that should have been bread and butter to him, as standing MP - He was unable to even look at my concern !

Hi Wibbles! I would not be too concerned about the fact that your M.P. "changed his allegiances". However, failing to "look at your concern" is concerning to me also. In 2017 one of my disabled friends (CP) alleged to me that he had apparently been pressurised into signing away his rights to his share of his father's estate (worth around a quarter of a million pounds to him it seemed). I wrote to his MP on his behalf (and with his signed written permission) about it. We received absolutely no response whatsoever from him - not even the traditional automatic electronic acknowledgment that our correspondence had been received by his office. (The struggle continues!) Have you raised your concerns with the relevant constituency office? Apart from that I would certainly use any relevant campaigning groups such as Liberty who are currently trying to stop our Government (Zombie Government that is!) from undermining our human rights.0

To be honest I was more shocked when I seen Therese Coffey was made Health Secretary and more importantly Deputy Prime Minister. I knew she was going to remain in cabinet but thought she’d of stayed on as SoS for W&P. Her replacement, Chloe Smith has experience as the minister for disabled people but she seems a tough nut.
Looking forward to seeing the energy plan later this week too, supposedly signed off last night but it might not be announced until Friday whilst they implement changes.
I still go back to my previous comments about Truss though. Let’s see what damage (good or bad) she can do.0 -
I will never vote Tory. They have decemated this country. They will try to blame Labour. After I have read the floyed report. Watched the Documentary called this is not a movie. The lies they told and the media Demonised Corbyn. They spent millions on propaganda to Demonise a innocent man. Yet little has been said about it.The trial to assert who was involved starts 26th this month. It wasn't just the Tories it was also the right wing of Labour who stabbed there leader in the back.0

Truss is going to announce energy plan tomorrow according to what she said earlier in question time

As Keir Starmer stated at PMQs today the key question about Truss's energy plan is "who pays?" I am quite sure that the huge "windfall profits" accrued by the energy firms should be raided. Truss will probably make the poorest in our society even poorer. We are being governed by a rich, right wing, non representative elite who live in a "make belief" world (a bit like CQC?). Corbyn spoke the truth at huge personal cost politically. Having said all of that I suppose we have to wait and see (but not for too long). Liz Truss will noy be treated so kindly at future PMQs.1

Wibbles I'm sorry. That you to have been brain washed. By the Media to believe that. Just type into Google most smeared politician in History. It's well known all over the world.1

His fraternisation with multiple known terrorists (ex-terrorists (you can dress a pig in a suit but it`s still a pig)) whilst a prospective Prime Minister of this great country of ours disgusted and, if I`m honest, worried & scared me.And before you brush aside my comment with "you`ve been brain washed", I`m old enough, wise enough and experienced enough to make my own mind up without being a lemming and following those you categorise as not having the ability to make their own mind up.And don`t forget his anti-Semitism and his refusal to do anything about anti-Semitism in the Labour Party. His suspension was wholly justified; it wasn`t "a stab in the back".

I still go back to my previous comments about Truss though. Let’s see what damage (good or bad) she can do.I think there`s a uniqueness about someone who likes to karaoke, smoke cigars (I`m not a smoker), likes her champagne (an assumption after a photo I saw in a paper), who is very overweight but lives her life regardless and has Dr Dre as a ringtone on her phone. For that, maybe strangely, I actually respect her.Whether she "delivers" or not, time will tell.I think Truss is trying to make a point with her new cabinet in that there are no white men in the top 4 people of her cabinet (a comment made on the news); they are females and / or people of colour. Again, as for Coffey, time will tell.Like you, I`m unsure (read that as don`t Truss(t)) her.
Before someone misreads this and calls me racist or mysogynistic, I`m not.Andy
