Hi looking for info on UC lcwra and if it should be applied before the assessment period.
I'm on pip and have been for several years receiving mobility allowance.
Should I have been placed on lcwra at onset of my claim 29th of April and submitted fit note 12th of may.
I don't recieve money until october is this correct or should it be paid sooner.
I also enquired about cost of living payments being told I don't qualify as lcwra had not been awarded until october I only receive housing element having signed for house on 23rd of june.
Due to a works pension I don't receive any payment until lcwra is paid in october.
Please advise

As advised in your previous thread it's not paid at all during the waiting period, which is 3 full assessment periods. The date you submitted your first fit note wasn't a full assessment period, so that month doesn't count. You will receive first payment in October. Previous thread here. https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/94358/hi-my-name-is-donkdf-looking-for-advice-im-on-universal-credit#latestFor the first cost of living payment of £326, you must have been entitled to a payment of UC for an assessment period that ended between 26th April - 25th May. If you didn't receive a payment then you will not be entitled to the first payment.
