Hi @SueHeath,
Thank you for your message. Let me try to explain this better.
You are part of the Online Community of Scope, where you can interact with other users and engage with them on specific issues.
Being a member of Scope is something different and gives you access to many rights, opportunities, and benefits.
For example, as a Scope member, you will be able to:- attend Scope's Annual General Meeting (on 23 November this year)
- elect Scope's Board of Trustees
- elect Scope's Assembly Members, or run for elections yourself!
- vote on any constitutional changes
- provide feedback on Scope's strategy review and work
- enjoy discounts, promotions, and other benefits
Joining our membership is free, and you can cancel your membership at any time.
Please let me know if you still have any question, or if you are ready to become a member of Scope today!

Is this all done in person or is it possible to vote and stuff remotely? And when you say 'attend' what does that mean? Do you have to take part?
Thank you for your questions.
All our membership-related activities are online, for accessibility purposes. In this way all members can attend our meetings remotely, either on Teams or Zoom, regardless where they are from.
Participation is always optional. You can decide how much time to commit depending on your availability.
Regarding voting at the AGM, it will be done remotely using an online platform called Elections Buddy - we are testing its accessibility at the moment, but I think there should be no problems.
Please let me know if you have any other questions, and thank you again for your support!

Thanks to you, @elahrairah!
The membership is growing fast (around 20 new members per week) and we are planning many interesting initiatives.
One of them is a social event for our members in October - we just opened this survey asking our members what kind of activities they would like to have at the event!
If you are already a member, feel free to send us your feedback!
If not, you can become a member of Scope in a few minutes by completing this survey: https://www.scope.org.uk/membership/

As I'm sure many of you might know I'm not around as much for the rest of the year due to my eye problems, having seen the consultant today it looks like it will be into the new year until both ops on my eyes are done.
However I'm trying my best to keep up with whats happening and I must say this was of interest until I saw how much personal info was needed and for that reason I won't be signing up.
I've just about managed this with one eye closed !Seasons greetings to one and all 🎄🎅🏻🌲 -
