It’s not about the conditions you have, it’s about how they affect your daily living and mobility activities. See the descriptors here:
    https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/Global/Migrated_Documents/adviceguide/pip-9-table-of-activities-descriptors-and-points.pdf

Note, you need 8 points for a Standard Daily Living award and 12 for Enhanced, the same goes for the Mobility descriptors.

Thank you, I had phone assessment and the lady was lovely, but she asked me about my ptsd and I broke down, I tried so hard not to, but it's like a tap, just drips and pours whenever it wants. Feel like I didn't explain myself well enough, but thank you for replies xx

I'm glad that she was kind @ollyoyster :)

There's no shame in breaking down when asked about upsetting or triggering topics. How are you feeling today?

Are you receiving any support to help you manage your PTSD and panic attacks?

Brains are definitely complex, and it can sometimes take a while before you see positive changes from things like anti-depressants and counselling @Ollyoyster. I'd encourage you to stick with it :)

Couldn't wait I phoned up dwp waited about 30mins and requested a copy of written report, last was really nice and is going to send it out, I was cheeky and asked if she could tell me anything, she said she couldn't as it was just a view and pages long and it's only recommended not the final decision. So I wait,,she said it shouldn't be too long,, so I will keep you updated x

I really think having trolled all various sites it depends on area and how busy the person is,, I'm not an expert like, but I'm just going off what lots of people are saying. I was panicking thinking coz I had my text the next day it means I was written off, but people have said it just means that the report has been handed in, I don't know my result yet, its not nice waiting x

Waiting is not nice is it @Ollyoyster I agree! Hello and welcome from me also :)

Do you have anything you like to do to help relax, or something you really enjoy that could help take your mind off things?

Hi just an update, I requested a copy of hp written report phone assessment. Got today,  few things are not right, I am out by 2 points if I go by this, and I feel I got upset on interview and never put my point across properly. I'm expecting the brown non reward envelope next week   but its not looking good if I go off this.  I don't know what to do. She wrote that I can walk 50 to 200 metres,, I can't when have a bad day, which is most. She suggested if I used a stick I'd get further. This is not the point if I had a stick or not I am still in chronic pain therefore could not walk the distance she said.  I have stage 4 oa in knees, hypermobility and anxiety,, I'm a shell of who I used to be. I'm sorry for ranting on, and I understand there are far worse than me, but I think it's being told what you can do when I can't,, it's really upset me.  Sorry for essay, it's just this site has been great for me x

I rang up dwp and said to lady that I think assessor has failed to understand me, she said to wait for the letter and then to write in with my options,  is this correct? Thanks in advance x

Sorry I also asked why the hp had put a review date on back, if I don't have enough points, she said its a generic number on all new claims,, quite confusing, x
