Please note that this isn't medical advice, i'm just advising the name of the medication i take. You should of course speak to your GP.I hope your pain eases soon.1

Not a medical pro - and only saying what worked for me over the counter - Cyclizine anti-histamine
Now got Metroclopramide on prescription for the sickness with acid reflux and side effects from other pills
*** Waiver*** Always speak to the Pharmacist about any conditions, other meds before buying/ trying1 -
Hi @Ollyoyster, sorry you're feeling so rubbish. It's horrible being in constant pain. Seems like it would be worth getting in touch with your doctors or local pharmacy to help you with the right medications.
I think I once read somewhere that hypermobility can be affected by our estrogen/hormones fluctuating, but I'm definitely not qualified to say that for certain!
I hope you get some relief soon, take it easy.2 -
Hypermobility is indeed often worse around the time of the month speaking from both personal experience (I have the hypermobile type of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome), & reading about it from a medical perspective. As a result of having hypermobile joints, I also developed generalised OA. Personally, it was the increase in suluxations that I found the worst.
